Join us for a live interactive virtual cook-a-long event, led by executive chef Awa Sibi, owner of Les Délices de Awa, a new West African caterer in Madison, and Maria Nicholas-Groves, founder of Feeding Mouths, Filling Minds. This month’s meal: Thiebou djeun - A Senegalese-style fried rice made with fish. This is a family-friendly event and children are welcome to join in!

We are working with Project 1808 and Strides for Africa to bring the first college to a remote area of Sierra Leone which will provide higher education with a focus on solving community challenges in innovative ways.

Help harvest water for children in Rwanda
All proceeds will go directly to building a much-needed rainwater harvesting and storage system at Imizi Children's Center in rural Rwanda. The Center provides nearly 200 street children with a home, education, healthcare and support. Located in an area of Rwanda with inconsistent access to water year round, there can be a struggle to maintain health, hygiene and provide nutrition to the children. But, together, we can change that.
At Feeding Mouths, Filling Minds, we work with dependable, trustworthy organizations and choose to work on small projects that make a big difference to children around the world. As a result of meeting our goal, every event attendee here will know you've made a difference in the lives of children half a world away. And we share pictures, photos and stories of the communities we help on social media so that you can see exactly what your dollar helped build. We're building sustainable food and water sources in impoverished areas to help create a ripple effect of healthy families, educated children and successful economies.
